We are seeking a seasoned caregiver for a full-time role who is looking to build a long-term relationship with one family and become a steady, trusted presence in our child’s life. The ideal candidate is calm, affectionate, confident, and accountable, and takes pride in raising children well while contributing to a peaceful, structured, and well-run home.

This role is centered on exceptional childcare and also includes cooking, light housekeeping, laundry, and household support. The position may be structured as live-in or live-out for the right candidate.

The household is built around a very hands-on, present, and engaged work-from-home mother. You will work closely with Mom, follow her lead, and support her parenting approach with confidence and respect.

There will be times when Mom wants uninterrupted time with the baby. During those moments, we expect someone who remains proactive and supportive throughout the home, naturally shifting into meal preparation, tidying, laundry, and household flow when childcare needs are lighter.

Privacy matters to us. We value discretion and are looking for someone who blends into the family rhythm with professionalism and care.

Core Responsibilities

Baby Care and Development

• Full care of our baby while supporting Mom-led routines

• Managing wake windows with creative, intentional play

• Feeding support, including meal preparation and clean-up

• Supporting naps and sleep schedule consistency

• Supporting developmental milestones

• Ensuring the baby is always safe, settled, and well cared for

• Reinforcing household expectations with love and healthy boundaries

• Initiating engaged, imaginative play

• Maintaining a screen-free environment

• Managing baby laundry and nursery organization
  
  

Household Support

• Light daily home reset, maintaining a tidy home environment throughout the day

• Occasional local errands and personal support for Mom as needed

• Preparing dinner each evening

• Supporting baseline household cleanliness alongside a primary housekeeper
  
  

Travel and Seasonal Responsibilities

• Traveling with the family on vacations

• Occasional travel related to family or work needs

• Extensive summer pool time

• Confidently managing pool safety while supporting fun, learning, and comfort in the water

Schedule and Flexibility

This is a full-time role with overtime eligibility. Flexibility is essential, and we are looking for someone willing to step in as family needs evolve.

This may include:

• Trading weekday hours for weekend support

• Overtime hours

• Date night coverage

• School holidays and sick days

• Occasional later evenings

• Overnights when one or both parents travel

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of professional infant/toddler experience

• Spanish as a first language (mandatory)

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

• Prior experience traveling with families

• CPR, First Aid, and choking certification

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Exceptionally safe driver

• Comfortable with animals (dogs and a horse)

• Calm, adaptable, upbeat presence

• Confident working independently and managing the household

• Brings energy and effort every day

• Willingness to sign our no–cell phone while driving agreement

Compensation is negotiable and based on:

• Experience

• Live-in vs. live-out arrangement

• Overall scope of responsibilities
